Help! I Have Social Media Rejection Syndrome!
How some LinkedIn members are using this social media channel
On August 25, 2009, Elaine Fogel created a blog post on Marketing Profs Daily Fix entitled, “Help! I Have Social Media Rejection Syndrome!” It was intended as a tongue-in-cheek piece to stimulate discussion on an experience she had when one of her LinkedIn invitees clicked, “I don’t know this person,” ultimately rejecting her invitation and essentially putting her on notice with the LinkedIn program - i.e. requiring her to enter someone’s e-mail address during the invitation process.
