Marketing Challenge: This organization wanted to create increased awareness for its annual campaign. The marketing budget was tight, as annual campaign revenues had been in decline for several years.
Solution: This radio spot was developed and produced with a small budget and donated studio and actor time. The budget allowed for a small media buy in one major market, while the spot ran in several others as a public service announcement. It uses humor to grab the listener’s attention, and the celebrity of actor, Leslie Nielsen.
Response was very positive, especially from campaign volunteers.
